Right now it is to do with the batteries. So as I am learning, I constantly come across conflicting details. I winterized the RV this week and wanted to store the batteries inside for the winter (even though I think the coach batteries are fubar), so I removed all 3, documented all the cabling and have been attempting to charge all 3 batteries before storing them (and will charge them a couple times over the winter). All runs great, drove it 10 hours back to Canada, and other than a nagging tranny leak and some messed up coach batteries, I am pretty happy with her.Īs mentioned before I have never owned an RV so currently learning everything as I go along. She (Penny) is the exact year, layout and such that I was looking for. So I finally found the 1973 Brave that I was hunting for.

The vehicle runs and drives, with only one iss. I bought this coach at the end of last year with plans to restore it. This Winnie is the smallest of the bunch, easily driven around by someone who isn't used to driving motor homes (much like myself). Up for sale is my classic 1973 Winnebago Brave D18. I originally bought it to live in it and travel, but would be great for family outings or hunting camp. This 21' Class A is the perfect size for all applications. 1973 Winnebago Brave D20T - $6500 (missoula)ġ973 Winnebago Brave in great condition.1973 Winnebago Brave motorhome - $1500 (Ironwood, MI)ġ973 Winnebago Brave motorhome.

I was going to pull a trailer with this but after giving it a bit of a test run it’s not going to work out for what I want to do It was nicely done and sealed perfectly but it is no restoration just something to seal it and keep it dry inside. It should last a long time but it is not a conventional repair. The roof has been re-skinned with a grain truck bed cover. Interior is mostly there but needs redone. The steering is a bit loose and would benefit from some tie rod ends but not horrible. In good condition just full of Coca Cola not rusty. I will be trying to drain and clean but it may need dropped. Right now the engine is running off of a temporary boat tank. That will need addressed before major travels Adding fluid makes them work again but it’s losing fluid probably from a bad wheel cylinder seal. Recent work includes new batteries, fuel pump, carb rebuild, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, switched front rims away from split rims and put modern rims on, backs still need replaced but the rear tires hold air, slow leak in one front tire.īrakes worked now they are to the floor. Runs, drives, stops but needs more work before it’s ready for long trips For the fastest response call or text, too many scam email responses so I rarely look
